Red-tailed Hawk Park Inclusive Playground

On Saturday 8/24 I attended the opening of the Red-Tailed Hawk Park project in Aurora in my capacity of Governor Designate.
This playground enables side-by-side play between able bodied persons and those with disabilities.
The Colorado Wyoming District joined with the Rotary Club to help raise funds for the park. Lt. Governor Wade Hammond was instrumental in coordinating the District’s involvement. The Wheat Ridge Club was the largest single donor from the Optimist District.
